I’ve tried going sulfate- and silicone-free a few times now, but every time I end up with products that either don’t clean properly or leave my hair feeling like straw. I really want to stick with natural options that don’t damage my scalp or hair long-term, but they also have to do something — not just smell nice. If anyone has found brands or shops that balance clean ingredients and real results, I’d love to hear your suggestions.

Just dropped into this section of the forum while browsing random threads. I'm not super picky with hair products myself, but it’s interesting to see how many people are moving toward cleaner options these days. I guess it makes sense — we care so much about what we eat, why not about what we use on our bodies too?
I know exactly what you mean. I had the same problem when I made the switch — my hair went through that weird “adjustment” phase, and I almost gave up. What helped was finding better-formulated options through a site that specializes in clean beauty. I ended up ordering most of my haircare essentials. They carry brands that are both natural and effective, and my hair has honestly never felt softer or healthier. Worth checking out if you want quality without compromises.
